1st Little City Concerts Young Pianists Masterclass

We are happy to announce the 1st Little City Concerts Young Pianists Masterclass, taking place on February 15, 2025. These events are in conjunction with Sophia Vastek's concert on Saturday, 2/15 at 7:30pm at The Falls Church in Falls Church City. We are so excited to host this opportunity for young musicians in our community: students will have the opportunity to perform for Sophia in a masterclass setting, and possibly perform as an opening act on Sophia's concert.

The application period has closed, and students have been selected: Sophia has chosen two outstanding local high school piano students to participate in the masterclass on Saturday morning and open for her on Saturday evening. The students are Amir Nikbakht, from South County High School, and Aayan Deshpande, from Oakton High School. These two phenomenal young pianists will each play a piece to open the concert. Little City Concerts is so happy these musicians will have the opportunity to share the stage with Sophia.

The masterclass is not open to the public. Tickets to Sophia's concert can be purchased via this link. Tickets are FREE for students/youth, and $25 general admission.
